Homeland

The connection I share with my ancestral homeland gives me a sense of belonging and pride, it gives me freedom like the wind, grounds me like the rugged landscape and waters me like the luscious permanent pools. I am apart of this ancient country as much as it’s apart of me, it runs through my veins.
